Getting Started
Learn the basics of VerCivil, from choosing a calculator to saving and exporting reports.
Welcome to VerCivil Docs
This manual is the single place to learn how to use the app. You will learn how to pick a calculator, enter inputs, read results, save projects, and export PDF reports.
Choose a calculator
The home page groups tools by discipline: Concrete, Steel, Timber, Loads, Geotechnical, Analysis, and MEP. Click a tool card to open its calculator page.
Enter inputs
Each calculator has a form organized into clear sections. Fill in geometry, loads, material properties, and the design code you want to use. The form validates inputs and warns about unusual values.
Read results and calc steps
After calculating, the output shows demand/capacity ratios, recommended sizes, reinforcement details, material quantities, and any diagrams you need. Calculation steps help you verify the method.
Stale-results banner
If you edit inputs after a calculation, a colored banner warns you that the current results no longer match the latest inputs. Press calculate again to refresh the output.
Save to a project
You can save calculations into a project. Guests keep data in the browser, while logged-in users sync to the cloud and can access it from other devices.
Export a PDF report
Press the Export PDF button to generate a full report. The report includes a cover page, input summary, calculation steps, results, and a professional liability disclaimer.
Free quota and Pro
The Free plan lets you run calculators 3 times per day and includes the full drawing canvas. For unlimited calculations, watermark-free PDFs, and DXF export, upgrade to Pro. See the pricing page for details.
