By accessing or using VerCivil (vercivil.xyz, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
VerCivil provides web-based civil and structural engineering calculation tools, drawing tools, and related features. Calculations reference published design standards (including ACI 318, ASCE 7, Eurocode, AISC, and Thai DPT standards) and are validated against textbook cases published on our validation page.
The Service is a computational aid, not a substitute for professional engineering judgment. All results must be independently reviewed, verified, and approved by a qualified, licensed engineer before being used in any real design, construction, permit submission, or other professional context. You remain solely responsible for any engineering work product that incorporates output from the Service. VerCivil does not provide engineering services and no engineer–client relationship is created by your use of the Service.
Suggestions produced by AI features (including Copilot, Photo-to-Design, Plan Reviewer, or any content proposed by a third-party AI agent you authorize to connect to your account) are non-binding drafts only. Nothing an AI produces or proposes takes effect in your project until you affirmatively review and accept it. You are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy of any AI-generated or AI-proposed content — including quantities, material or labor prices, or design values — before relying on it, submitting it to a third party, or incorporating it into a contract, bid, or permit submission. If you connect a third-party AI agent of your own choosing, you are solely responsible for that agent’s proposals; VerCivil does not review, endorse, or warrant the accuracy of any third-party AI’s output, and is not liable for actions your connected agent takes or content it proposes. AI-sourced numerical input should always be independently verified against your own source documents, particularly where that input originates from external files or data the AI has processed.
Authentication is provided through AIVerID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and be legally capable of entering into these terms.
Free usage is subject to quotas shown in the app. Paid subscriptions (“Pro”, including the Founding Engineer plan) are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. 7-day money-back guarantee: if you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, contact us within 7 days of the first payment and we will refund it in full. Renewals and subsequent payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Prices may change with reasonable prior notice; Founding Engineer renewals keep the founding rate for as long as the subscription remains active.
You may not: abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service; attempt to bypass usage quotas or access controls; resell the Service without authorization; use automated scraping beyond documented APIs; or upload content you do not have the right to use.
You retain ownership of the designs, drawings, project data, and images you create or upload. You grant VerCivil a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service (including AI-assisted features you invoke).
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ACCURACY OF RESULTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESULTS ARE ERROR-FREE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY SPECIFIC PROJECT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERCIVIL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM DESIGNS, CONSTRUCTION, OR PROFESSIONAL DECISIONS BASED ON SERVICE OUTPUT. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
We may modify the Service or these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by other reasonable means, and continued use constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
