Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using VerCivil (vercivil.xyz, the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
VerCivil provides web-based civil and structural engineering calculation tools, drawing tools, and related features. Calculations reference published design standards (including ACI 318, ASCE 7, Eurocode, AISC, and Thai DPT standards) and are validated against textbook cases published on our validation page.
3. Professional responsibility — important
The Service is a computational aid, not a substitute for professional engineering judgment. All results must be independently reviewed, verified, and approved by a qualified, licensed engineer before being used in any real design, construction, permit submission, or other professional context. You remain solely responsible for any engineering work product that incorporates output from the Service. VerCivil does not provide engineering services and no engineer–client relationship is created by your use of the Service.
4. Accounts
Authentication is provided through AIVerID. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and be legally capable of entering into these terms.
5. Plans, billing, and cancellation
Free usage is subject to quotas shown in the app. Paid subscriptions (“Pro”) are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time via the billing portal; access continues to the end of the paid period. Except where required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. Prices may change with reasonable prior notice.
6. Acceptable use
You may not: abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service; attempt to bypass usage quotas or access controls; resell the Service without authorization; use automated scraping beyond documented APIs; or upload content you do not have the right to use.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the designs, drawings, project data, and images you create or upload. You grant VerCivil a limited license to store and process that content solely to operate the Service (including AI-assisted features you invoke).
8. Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND ACCURACY OF RESULTS. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RESULTS ARE ERROR-FREE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY SPECIFIC PROJECT.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERCIVIL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM DESIGNS, CONSTRUCTION, OR PROFESSIONAL DECISIONS BASED ON SERVICE OUTPUT. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
10. Changes and termination
We may modify the Service or these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by other reasonable means, and continued use constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
