Quick Beam Design Calculator
Design reinforced concrete beams with auto-sizing, stirrup layout, and deflection checks per ACI 318.
Input Parameters
Enter span and uniform load. The beam width and depth are automatically sized. Defaults: pinned-pinned, SD40 steel.

Get Started FreeHow This Beam Calculator Works
This calculator performs a complete reinforced concrete beam design following ACI 318-19 (American Concrete Institute). It automatically sizes the beam cross-section based on typical span-to-depth ratios, designs flexural reinforcement (bottom and top bars) through an iterative process, and determines stirrup size and spacing based on the shear demand.
The design includes: auto-sizing of beam width and depth, factored load analysis with self-weight, flexural design with minimum/maximum steel ratio checks, shear design per ACI 318-19 Chapter 22, deflection analysis (immediate and long-term), development length verification, and material quantity estimation.
